Dev Log 0.8


Development for the game is moving along at a much faster pace than previously expected. The following has been added since the previous version:

  1.  Gameplay created and closed
  2. Three enemy types with player alert and attack system
  3. Shop system
  4. Money/currency system
  5. Six weapon types
  6. Ten health item types
  7. Four songs composed with three having been successfully implemented them (temporarily muted because I am frequently having to restart levels and such)
  8. Implemented wall shadows into the random map generation


To do:

Required:

Add challenge Items to shop

Add main menu

Add playable opening scene

Create "Plutus" and implement final boss after floor 100

Implement endless mode 

Create and implement more enemy types (preferably a minimum of 6, aiming for 12 )


Non-required but wanted:

Create and implement "Soda" shop NPC for dialogue, jokes, and information

Rework existing gun sprites

Implement more gun types

Create and implement more level theme variations


Stretch goal (probably not happening):

Implement dynamic lighting system
